Gitomer, author
of the "Sales Moves" column and author of "The
Sales Bible" and "Customer Satisfaction is Worthless
- Customer Loyalty is Priceless," writes his column for
The Central New York Business Journal and 85 other business
papers across the country. He has presented more than 100
seminars a year for a decade and recently returned from Eastern
Europe, where he presented in Warsaw, Prague, and Budapest.
Gitomer, president of BuyGitomer in Charlotte, N.C., says
that his seminar "will help people get out of the doldrums
of 'there's just not enough business.' " "I'll
give people info they can take out into the street one minute
after they hear it and start making money," Gitomer claims.
Gitomer explains his focus on customer loyalty over satisfaction
by noting that "some customers are never satisfied."
But, he says, they will continue to come back. And that, he
says, is the measure of customer loyalty: "Will they
come back and will they refer other people to do business
with me?"
Gitomer's clientele include Coca-Cola, Cingular Wireless,
Hilton, Choice Hotels, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Turner Broadcasting,
Time Warner Cable, HBO, Wells Fargo Bank, Mercedes Benz, Hyatt
Hotels, XEROX, IBM, AT&T, and, says Gitomer, hundreds
of others.
His two Web sites, www.gitomer.com
and www.trainone.com,
get more than 1,000 hits a day from readers and seminar attendees.
In 1997, Gitomer was awarded the designation Certified Speaking
Professional by the National Speakers Association |
